CoPilot Brewing was born from the balance and synchronicity of tandem surfing, where founder Jack Harring spent years competing at the edge of physical precision. Craving a post-surf beer that didn’t sabotage his training, Jack envisioned something better—a brew that moved with you, not against you. One night, somewhere between exhaustion and inspiration (maybe a little cosmic interference), the idea hit: a beer that acted like a co-pilot. Light, crisp, full of flavour, and aligned with an active life. Rooted in connection, brewed for balance, and whispered into existence by whatever weird force rides shotgun with all great legends—CoPilot isn’t just a beer. It’s a belief system.

You didn’t find us. We found you.
We don’t just brew beer. We transmit belief.
From desert dust to surf wax, from cryptid myth to calorie math—CoPilot exists to move with you.
To glow beside you. To whisper, 'you can have flavour and fitness, mystery and macros.'
This isn’t just a drink. It’s a drop. A signal.

The craft beer world had a blind spot. You could either drink something light and watery or drown in a hop bomb that wrecked your macros and your Sunday. For people living active, adventurous lives—like surfers, hikers, and health-conscious thrill-seekers—there wasn’t a brew that fit the lifestyle. CoPilot Brewing emerged to close the gap—offering full-flavour, low-calorie brews that fuel the ride, not fight it. And yeah, maybe there's something otherworldly about that balance. But if beer can’t evolve with us, what even is it doing here?

Backpacking coffee gear has a reputation—it’s either way too pricey or feels like you need a barista certification to use it. Origami Coffee flips that on its head. It’s made for the kind of person who loves coffee but doesn’t want to drop a hundred bucks on fancy brewing gadgets—or haul them up a mountain. With Origami, you just unfold the cup, pour in hot water, and boom—you’ve got a solid cup of coffee and a fire starter in one. It’s simple, pack-friendly, and doesn’t compromise on taste. All of Origami Coffee beans come from legit growers in California, Costa Rica, and Hawaii, so yeah… It’s budget coffee, but it’s far from basic.

CoPilot Brewing is for the movement-driven misfits—people who chase waves, trails, goals, and probably a few conspiracies. They’re the ones waking up early to train, to surf, to hike, to live fully, but still want a beer that actually fits into that rhythm. Not one that slows them down. Some are die-hard adventurers. Others are weekend warriors who like their kombucha cold, their gear light, and their calories counted. They care about what goes in their bodies, but they’re not preachy. They’ll meal prep and microdose in the same breath. They want beer that feels like them—uncomplicated, full of flavour, and riding just a little outside the mainstream.

The name CoPilot came from tandem surfing itself—that rare connection where balance, rhythm, and flow are shared between two people on one board. It’s trust. It’s movement. It’s knowing someone (or something) has your back. That spirit became the soul of the brand: beer that’s not in your way—it’s with you for the ride.
From the jump, we knew this brand couldn’t just be another “healthy craft beer” clone. It had to be fun, a little feral, and totally unhinged—in the best way. So we built a world that mixes active lifestyle energy with Aussie folklore, retro sci-fi weirdness, and a touch of wellness woo-woo.

CoPilot’s identity fuses retro sci-fi, surf nostalgia, and Aussie folklore into a visual system that’s bold, weird, and wildly collectible. The logo nods to vintage surf gear and UFO files—clean but just off-center enough to feel like a signal from somewhere else. Earthy, vibrant tones like burnt orange, swamp green, and cosmic gold keep the vibe grounded but full of energy. Typography is modular and assertive, built to flex across can sidebars, lore blocks, and cryptid callouts. The real magic lives in the illustration: each can is a character, wrapped in myth, mystery, and flavour-forward weirdness. This isn’t just a visual identity—it’s a cult-worthy design language people want to sip, share, and stick on their van windows.

We wanted the Origami Coffee brand to reflect their straight-shooting attitude. The logo tells their story at a glance: an origami-inspired tent nods to our roots in folded paper and life spent outdoors, while the rough textures and imperfect lines speak to the grit and resourcefulness behind the brand. It’s simple, memorable, and unapologetically real. The color palette is vibrant enough to stand out but never flashy—it feels fresh without trying too hard. And Origami Coffee's typefaces are bold, legible, and just gritty enough to feel like they belong on a trail sign. Since the colors stray from typical earthy tones, the typography brings in that rugged, outdoorsy edge to ground the entire identity.

CoPilot’s packaging is where the weird meets the wonderful. Each can is designed like a mini myth—featuring bold creature art, rich textures, and ingredient-driven callouts that make it as fun to read as it is to drink. Every label has its own flavour-forward layout—tight grids, vertical ingredient bars, and narrative zones—all unified by CoPilot’s offbeat visual language.
